I asked him ti repeat what he said just to be sure I heard correctly that he will not rent me a car unless I take a gift card even though the ONLY reason I called is to RENT A CAR.
I've experienced stupid, but this literally takes the cake. Hertz is a rental car company literally telling their agents to turn down business because of a random gift card.

Tried calling 3 times the number listed and it tells me I won a $100 gift card. I talk to the agent to tell him I don't want a gift card just to rent a car and proceeds to tell me that "if I don't get a gift card, then nobody can help you sir."
