If the Gables' Police wants to boost their revenues, here's a tip: Please have some of your officers stationed at traffic lights along Ponce de Leon Blvd by UM during rush hours, and see how many drivers you could easily pull over and ticket. These drivers have absolutely no regards about (the law) stopping before making a right turn on the red lights. How many times, pedestrians would get run over if they were not careful!? Very frustrated pedestrian and biker. Not fair!!
I rated them a five-star because I want to take the time to give them a positive feedback. I was involved and a collision on US1 the other day and two police officers we're on the scene both of them were very courteous and professional and I'm sure the other driver that was ticketed for making a U-turn and didn't understand that you can't do that in front of traffic. Would give them a negative report because he felt like he didn't do anything wrong.
The Police department should get rid of young Napoleonic complex officers. They are rude and irreverent to tax paying citizens. No wonder more than half the citizens of the USA and Coral Gables detest the establishment.
What a waist of tax money.. I was involved in a car accident exactly one month ago, i was told my report would be ready for pick up in 2 weeks. I finally get word that i have to send a copy of the report to my insurance so i go to pick up the report at the station and im told i have to wait anther 2 weeks for them to email it or have it ready for pick up because its not done yet. Thats a total of 6 weeks for a silly report.. GARBAGE SERVICE
Again both officers were very courteous and professional and you don't see that too often and I wanted to share my thoughts thank you.
What a shameful joke this PD is. Why do me and my children nearly get run over EVERY TIME we walk to the miracle mile???
Im sure that a lot if people rate all police departments low because they feel that they wete treated unjustly and therefore mad and want some Revenge so they come here and give him a negative report. And the ones that were treated good and had a good experience don't bother to take the time to report a good or positive feedback.
